The NEP Manthan Symposium, organized by Manthan for Academia on December 16, 2023, at Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Sabhagruha in Nagpur, received an overwhelming response, turning the event into a full house with over 3000 teachers attending the event from all over Nagpur and nearby districts. Indian Council for Technical Research and Development (ICTRD) emerged as a vital technical partner, offering profound insights into technological advancements and research within the education sector. Notably, the entire entry system, from registration to certification, was digitized by ICTRD, streamlining and enhancing the participant experience. The recent symposium, characterized by its full-house attendance, facilitated insightful discussions while providing attendees with a seamless digital entry process. Furthermore, ICTRD efficiently issued online certificates to all participants, eliminating any hassles in the process.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s Visionary Keynote
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister, Nitin Gadkari, inaugurated the event, delivering a keynote address that emphasized the pivotal role of teachers in shaping the future. He stressed the critical evaluation of students, extending beyond their knowledge to include cultural and social depth. Nitin Gadkari highlighted the need for a qualitative shift in the education system, aligning it with the socio-economic system. Encouraging educators to consider socio-economic conditions at various levels, he reiterated that education is an investment in preparing future citizens.

The symposium delved into crucial topics, including Indigenous Knowledge Systems and the role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in HEIs, and Promoting Quality Research in HEIs.
